Degradable Packaging
Editorial Policy
Degradable Packaging is editorially operated by the Degradable Packaging Editorial Team.
Degradable Packaging Editorial Team is responsible for selecting topics, checking facts, reviewing articles before publication, updating coverage, handling corrections and reviewing contributed material.
Sources and verification
Material factual claims must be checked against accessible evidence before publication. Primary sources take priority: legislation, regulator notices, official datasets, original research, standards information and company filings or announcements.
A source must support the specific claim being made. A second article repeating a claim is not a substitute for checking its origin. If a claim cannot be verified, omit it or explain the uncertainty and attribution.
Company statements and commercial claims
A company announcement verifies what the company announced; it does not independently prove product performance, recyclability, biodegradation, certification or environmental superiority. We attribute such claims to the company and identify the evidence available.
We distinguish a material, a formulation and a finished package. A polymer name alone does not establish how a finished product behaves in a particular disposal system.
Regulations and standards
Coverage identifies the jurisdiction and instrument. We distinguish proposals from adopted measures, entry into force from application, and standards from certification. Articles record official sources and the date checked. A general article does not establish applicability to a particular business or product.
News, guides and analysis
News identifies the event and its actual date. Guides explain definitions and limitations. Analysis is labeled and separated from sourced facts. Historical material must not be presented as a new development.
Conflicts & Disclosures
Degradable Packaging maintains commercial and industry relationships with companies operating in the packaging sector. Bioleader is one disclosed related party. These relationships do not determine editorial conclusions or guarantee coverage.
External contributions receive the same editorial review, factual checks and source requirements. Paid placement, sponsorship, affiliate arrangements and material related-party interests must be disclosed on affected content. Commercial material must not be concealed inside an ordinary news presentation. Coverage of a company does not imply endorsement.
AI-assisted work and human responsibility
AI tools may assist research preparation, organization, translation or drafting. They do not constitute evidence or replace checking original sources. Degradable Packaging Editorial Team remains responsible for factual checks, source links, dates, attribution and disclosures before publication.
AI assistance must not invent reporting, interviews, quotes, sources or author identities.
Updates and corrections
We record substantive updates and apply the Corrections Policy when an error changes a reader’s understanding. The original publication date is preserved; an updated date is shown when the substance changes.
Contact and submission status
